I've always been creatively  inclined, and hoped to be able to do what I loved as a career. I'm thrilled that I have been blessed with that reality as a graphic designer. I received my BFA from Sam
Houston State University and started working as a designer at a large corporation. After marrying and moving to North Texas, I went back to school and completed my teaching certification in Art Education at Texas Women’s University. Life led me away from teaching with the birth of our son. After several years as a stay-at-home mom and community activist/volunteer I returned to the world of professional graphic design as an independent freelance designer. Currently, I focus on graphic design for small businesses. I also work with the Wylie Chamber of Commerce to produce The CONNECTION Community Magazine that you can view at www.wyliechamber.org.
